MacEwan University is a public undergraduate university located in the downtown core of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Formerly a two-year college, in 2009, it became Alberta's sixth university. MacEwan University offers ten baccalaureate degrees, one applied degree and 43 diploma and certificate programs.

Admission Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to MacEwan University:
- International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

To be considered for this scholarship, students must:
- Be an international student (i.e. on a valid study permit) admitted to the Fall term;
- Be registered in at least 12 university-level credits per term in each of the Fall and Winter terms of the upcoming academic year in a degree program at MacEwan University as of the first day following the add/drop deadline in September;
- Have achieved an admission average on courses used for admission to a program within one of the scholarship ranges;
