Overview
Fanshawe is a comprehensive college serving the greater London region by providing flexible learning arrangements and experiential education opportunities developed in response to labour market needs. One of Ontario’s largest colleges - with four campuses in London, Simcoe, St. Thomas and Woodstock - Fanshawe serves close to half a million people with a promise to educate, engage, empower and excite.
We offer more than 200 degrees, diplomas, certificates and apprenticeship programs to 43,000 students each year, helping people unlock their potential and achieve success in a variety of disciplines including applied arts, business, health care, human services, hospitality and technology.
Fanshawe also plays an important role in providing re-skilling and skill upgrading opportunities for mature learners through the design and delivery of custom training for federally and provincially sponsored trainees, community organizations, sectoral training councils and private sector employers in the business, health, industrial and services sectors.

Admission Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Fanshawe College:
- International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

- Career Exploration Consulting: Career Consulting is available to all students and alumni to assist individuals in looking at factors that may be influencing their career development.
- Community Career Exploration Consulting: Fanshawe Career Consultants also offer assistance to the general public to identify potential career goals and the pathways needed to achieve these goals.
- Rising Leaders: This program is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the college. The program is comprised of six modules and is free to enroll in.
- Workshops: Workshops are designed to help you reach your full potential when you are ready to enter the job market.

On-Campus Housing
Fanshawe Residence is your home away from home. Choose between traditional apartment-style or townhouse-style accommodations complete with a private bedroom, oversized double bed, light housekeeping services, social activities and so much more. Our student housing options include 1,200 traditional apartment-style residence rooms and almost 400 townhouse rooms at our London campus, as well as a variety of off-campus housing options.
Off-Campus Housing
Fanshawe has partnered with Places4Students Inc. to provide an online collection of numerous housing options. Places4Students provides students, schools and landlords with the highest quality, off-campus housing service. The website provides a large real-time database for student housing vacancies in each of our campus communities, including photos and text, contact information and property features.

Spousal Scholarship 2-year Programs |
The 2025 Spousal Scholarship Program is designed to support international students by offering financial support for families when both spouses enroll in eligible programs at Fanshawe College starting in May 2025, September 2025 or January 2026. Eligible Regions: This scholarship is available for students from the following regions: 1. India 2. Latin America (LATAM) 3. Caribbean 4. South Korea 5.Philippines Application Deadlines Both students must apply within the designated application window: February 1 – June 15, 2025. |
1. The primary applicant (student) must apply to a PGWP-aligned post-secondary program at Fanshawe College. Note: Primary applicants from India must choose and enroll in a 2-year graduate certificate to qualify 2. The spouse must also be admitted to a full-time program of equal or lesser duration. This program may be PGWP or non-PGWP aligned. 3. Along with academic and English language proficiency documentation, both applicants must submit a copy of their marriage certificate along with a completed Spousal Scholarship application form. 4. Both students must pay the required deposit and fees by the specified date on their most recent invoice to secure their seats. 5. If either the primary applicant or the spouse withdraws from Fanshawe College prior to completing their program, the scholarship will be withdrawn. |
Scenario1: Primary applicant enrolled in 2-year program – Spouse enrolls in a 2-year post-secondary program; $7,000 CAD will be applied to the spouse’s tuition account in first-term and second-term. ($14,000 total). Scenario2: Primary applicant enrolled in 2-year program – Spouse enrolls in a 1-year post-secondary program; $7,000 CAD will be applied to the spouse’s tuition account in first-term only. ($7,000 total) |
