Overview

Founded in 1967 on traditional Blackfoot land, the University of Lethbridge (uLethbridge) is one of Canada’s top-ranked universities and leading research institutions. It is one of Alberta's four comprehensive academic and research universities. It focuses on liberal education, Interdisciplinary approach, and experimental learning, which has overgrown over the university years. The motto of the college itself states illumination that comes from research and planning. The university offers more than 150 degree, certificate and diploma programs and more than 70 master’s, certificate, diploma and doctoral programs.


Students can pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs. Moreover, many pre-professional programs are offered in law, journalism, nutrition, medicine, and optometry. Lethbridge Campus
Located on the west side of the city of Lethbridge, the university stretches across the coulees and has a great view of the Oldman River valley. It combines a beautiful setting with green space, gardens, and trees with high-tech facilities and classroom and research space. Spanning more than 500 acres, our campus is designed to ignite new ideas and encourage collaboration across disciplines.
