Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Brock University:

International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

Housing Services offers on campus housing options to students in any year of study. The eight building community is home away from home to nearly 2,800 students.

Residence: Brock is pleased to guarantee a space in residence to full-time undergraduate students in any year of study who apply and pay the residence application fee by June 3, 2024.

Brock University is committed to providing a safe living and learning environment that promotes student success. There are many elements that contribute to student success. The Student Affairs team is responsible for administering several policies and services that aim to make your on-campus experience a positive one.

What we do
Student Affairs team supports students through by leading the Campus Assessment Response and Education (CARE) team and the Non-Academic Misconduct process. The goal of the CARE team is to connect students with the appropriate service(s) that addresses their unique situation while providing the student with support to enable a healthy and successful academic and personal future.

The Student Affairs team takes a restorative approach to administering the Student Code of Conduct. Violations of the Student Code of Conduct are managed through the non-academic misconduct process wherein education and safety are prioritized. At all times, Student Affairs is here to help and support students.

Scholarships

Brock Scholars Award

Our largest award is the Brock Scholars awards. These awards are automatic and open to every incoming student from anywhere in the world. To qualify, you must be entering your first undergraduate program (no previous post-secondary experience).

Your admission average is calculated using the prerequisites for your offered program of study. A Brock Scholars Award is offered at the time of admission and may increase or decrease if your final average changes.
** Brock Scholars awards are renewable for up to three years. Students pursuing a three-year degree will be eligible for two renewals. For complete renewal requirements and terms, please click here.

Brock Transfer Award	10 Awards	$3,000	Awarded to 10 international students who have completed at least one year of study at a recognized post-secondary institution outside of Canada, are transferring to Brock for full-time undergraduate studies, and are earning 0.5-4.5 transfer credits. International Curriculum awards	20 Awards	$10,000	Students are automatically considered if they have achieved: IB diploma successful completion AP: incoming first-year undergraduate students with three AP courses with an exam score of 4 or more in each A-level final year average C or higher French Baccalaureate Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE)—3-level average or higher
Brock Canadian High School Excellence Award	30 Awards	$2,000
International Student Ambassador Award	10 Awards	Up to $23,000	Awarded annually to a maximum of 10 students who do not hold citizenship, permanent residence or refugee status in Canada. A separate application is required by early April for fall 2026 intake.
