Overview
In April 1972, the South Shore School of Administration and Secretariat, inc. was born on boulevard Curé-Poirier Ouest in Longueuil. This institution has existed for over 45 years and thousands of students have graduated and then effectively entered the job market to bring their new knowledge and skills.
The Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Secretarial School was created in January 1985 in Sherbrooke on rue du Parc which later became rue du cégep a little later. Again, over the past 30 years, this recognized establishment in Sherbrooke has graduated its students in professional training in the areas of secretarial, accounting, medical or legal secretarial services.
In 1997, the South Shore Administrative and Secretarial School Inc. has taken the technological turning point by putting aside typewriters and integrating computer technologies in all its premises. Leader in its field, the South Shore School of Administration and Secretarial Inc. was the first school in the greater Montreal region where each student had access to a computer at all times.
In 2006, the South Shore Administrative and Secretarial School Inc. and the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Secretarial School (1985) have chosen to unite to become Collège de comptabilité et de secrétariat du Québec, campus de Longueuil inc. (CCSQ). Since this alliance, students have the choice of studying at the Longueuil or Sherbrooke campuses. In 2012, the CCSQ campus de Sherbrooke inc. moved to downtown Sherbrooke on Wellington Street.
The CCSQ college is the perfect place to follow professional training in office automation or IT support. It is a dynamic, stimulating and warm living environment that facilitates the integration of learning and the development of life skills in the workplace.

The Sherbrooke Campus
Sherbrooke is situated at the confluence of the Saint-Francois and Magog rivers in the heart of the Eastern Townships and the Estrie administrative region. The campus of CCSQ is located at the downtown of Sherbrooke which is close to groceries, stores and restaurants.
Sherbrooke has parks and greenspaces that encompass a variety of recreational activities.
Jacques-Cartier Park is about 1 kilometer away from CCSQ campus. It contains several sports facilities including soccer fields and tennis courts. And several festivals are held here including the Fête du Lac des Nations, The Carnaval de Sherbrooke, the festivities for the Fête Nationale and Canada Day.
Mont Bellevue Park is the largest in Sherbrooke. It is about 2.5 kilometers away from our campus. The park is used for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, walking and tubing in winter; hiking, mountain biking, archery, tennis, and jogging in summer.
There are more than 30 pools for fishing near Sherbrooke. Raspberry and strawberry pick in the season. Sugar Shack from February to April. In the Summer season, several festivals, concerts and events are held in the city. Come winter, the city hosts the Carnaval de Sherbrooke.
