Webster University is a Private, Non-Profit Institution with a Century of Time-Tested Results

Established in 1915 by the Sisters of Loretto, who sought to make education accessible to all, Webster has an extraordinary history reflecting a determination to equalize higher education.

Recognizing the growing interconnectedness of our world, for 40 years we have been building a network of campuses to serve local communities. Today, we serve more than 10,000 students across 50 residential, metro, military, and international locations.

Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to the Webster University

International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Financial support statement (original bank statement and sponsor letter).
Passport identification page with machine-readable code visible
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Career Services
The Career Planning & Development Center (CPDC) assists international students and alumni with exploring and defining their personal career goals while developing the skills and confidence necessary to succeed. Over 90% of our international students take advantage of CPT and OPT opportunities. International students are encouraged to use Webster’s Handshake account, access career resources on the CPDC website, and attend virtual or live events and career fairs offered by the Career Planning & Development Center.

Accomodation

Housing Options
All freshmen enrolled at the St. Louis main campus are required to live on campus for their first two years at Webster University. Exceptions to this requirement are granted for freshmen living with their parents within a 35-mile radius of the main campus in Webster Groves. Undergraduate international transfer students are also required to live on campus for their first year enrolled in classes at the main campus.

Additionally, all study abroad students (undergraduate and graduate) are required to reside in on-campus housing for the duration of their study abroad experience. All site transfer students are required to reside on-campus for their first year enrolled at the Main Campus.

Merit based scholarship

International Freshmen Students

International Freshmen Students Accepted international applicants for admission are automatically reviewed for Webster Academic Scholarship based on their high school scores/grade point average. Students are notified within two to three weeks after receiving their admission decision.

Value: $12,000-$20,000 per year — Renewable for entire duration.
Contact: Your International Admissions Officer.
No separate application required.
Confirmation and tuition deposit after your student visa may apply to secure the scholarship offer.

PG Scholarship

The university offers 15% scholarship for International applicants for both the campuses St Louis and San Antonio.
