Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Keyano College:

• International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
• Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
• Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
• Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
• You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

• Resume Development - We assist students in the development of resumes and cover letters to support employment success of our graduates.  Requests for assistance can be sent to our Career Services team.
• Interview Help - Our team will provide practice interviews with student looking to be successful in a job or practicum placements that are based on their field of study.  Send an email to our Career Services team to book your practice interview.
• Career Resources - Access numerous free publications that cover job search skills, personal finance, career planning and enhancement, entrepreneurship, employee rights and a range of other topics relevant to students.  Many resources are available to pick up across from the reception desk in Clearwater Campus.  For more information please contact the Career Services team.
• Employers - If you're an employer, we can help you take advantage of a number of funding opportunities provided to employers who hire college students or recent graduates.

Student Support

Keyano College has some really great services for the students and thus helps them in adjusting well and fostering relationships with other students. Mentioned below are a few of these student services:

• Campus services - As a member of the Keyano College community, you'll have access to our campus services. From our fully-stocked Bookstore to our delicious cafeteria and dining options, we are committed to providing quality service on campus. We'll also assist you with transportation to and from campus and our security team will ensure that you are safe.
• Financial services and tuition - We provide a number of financial services, including scholarships and bursaries and financial aid that can assist you with your tuition payments.
• Career services - Our career services will help you find a part-time job while in school and transition into the workforce after graduation. We post jobs regularly and will help you write an effective resume and prepare for an interview.
• Housing - Our student housing provides you with clean, accessible, and convenient housing that can accommodate single or family occupancy.
• Health and wellness services - We provide health and wellness services free of charge to students. Our holistic approach to health includes our counselling services and health and dental benefits.
• Learning resources - We are dedicated to supporting your learning and academics while at Keyano College. The Library supports the learning process through access to learning resources, services, and technology. Our Librarians are ready to help with your assignments, your research process, and provide one-on-one research & referencing help.
