Overview
Keyano College is a comprehensive community institution in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Stretching from north-central Alberta to the borders of Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories, Wood Buffalo is one of the largest municipalities in Canada.
Keyano serves students through its Clearwater Campus and Suncor Energy Industrial Centre in Fort McMurray.
The College meets both the training and skills acquisition needs of industry, and the personal enrichment and cultural needs of the Wood Buffalo community. Keyano provides opportunities for lifelong, relevant and practical learning, and is committed to increasing access to post-secondary programs.
The College offers programs that lead to certificates, diplomas, certificates of qualification (trades), and baccalaureate degrees. The College also supports the development of professional knowledge and skills in several sectors, including energy, construction, business, health and safety, arts, sciences, education, human services, and transportation. A wide range of corporate training options are available to client companies as well as Aboriginal Education and Regional Stewardship programming focused on improving access to learning opportunities.

Admission Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Keyano College:
- International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

Accomodation
It is really important to make your accommodation arrangements for your first days in Canada before you leave your home country. Keyano College offers a variety of accommodation options to suit your needs and we can help you make the best choice for your situation.
Keyano College student housing provides our single students and student families with convenient, accessible, clean and comfortable accommodations during their studies.
Single Housing
Keyano College student housing is available to all full-time students on a first-come, first-served basis. Residence is your home away from home. It's a great place to meet new people, grow as an individual and learn new skills.
We have three housing options available to students looking for single accommodations.
- Clearwater Hall is a six-story building on campus that contains furnished apartment suites.
- Riedel Townhouses consist of unfurnished three - and four-bedroom townhouses located off campus, but close to shopping centres, bus stops, and grocery stores.
- Penhorwood Place townhouses consist of three to six large private single bedrooms each and are located behind Keyano College and next to the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre.
Family Housing
Keyano College family housing is available to all full-time students on a first-come, first-served basis. Our family residences provide affordable housing for you, your spouse and dependents during your full-time studies at Keyano College. We have two housing options available to students looking for Family housing.

- Campus services - As a member of the Keyano College community, you'll have access to our campus services. From our fully-stocked Bookstore to our delicious cafeteria and dining options, we are committed to providing quality service on campus. We'll also assist you with transportation to and from campus and our security team will ensure that you are safe.
- Financial services and tuition - We provide a number of financial services, including scholarships and bursaries and financial aid that can assist you with your tuition payments.
- Career services - Our career services will help you find a part-time job while in school and transition into the workforce after graduation. We post jobs regularly and will help you write an effective resume and prepare for an interview.
- Housing - Our student housing provides you with clean, accessible, and convenient housing that can accommodate single or family occupancy.
- Health and wellness services - We provide health and wellness services free of charge to students. Our holistic approach to health includes our counselling services and health and dental benefits.
- Learning resources - We are dedicated to supporting your learning and academics while at Keyano College. The Library supports the learning process through access to learning resources, services, and technology. Our Librarians are ready to help with your assignments, your research process, and provide one-on-one research & referencing help.
