Overview

The University of Southern Queensland is a regional University dedicated to providing quality degrees and programs in a flexible and supportive environment.

In just over 50 years, the University of Southern Queensland has become a prominent teaching and research institution providing education worldwide from three Southern Queensland locations – Toowoomba, Springfield and Ipswich. Springfield Campus

Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to the University of Southern Queensland:

International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Financial support statement (original bank statement and sponsor letter).
Passport identification page with machine-readable code visible
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

The Education City Residential Village located just 100 metres from UniSQ Springfield provides a friendly residential community environment. The modern two to seven bedroom apartments are fully furnished and include appliances.

Incoming Study Abroad International Travel Grant - 2025

The University of Southern Queensland will offer grants to non-award international students commencing or continuing their enrolment in the Study Abroad program, in Trimester 1, Trimester 2 or Trimester 3 2025.

Value	Each grant will have a maximum value of AUD2000 per trimester in accordance with the duration of the award. The grant will be credited directly to the recipient's UniSQ student account as a reduction to their tuition fees. *Students are responsible for paying the remainder of the fees as per the Offer Letter. Successful recipients of the grant will be notified in their initial UniSQ Study Abroad program Offer Letter.
Eligibility	Applicants must: be an international student be commencing or continuing their studies in the Study Abroad program (fee paying) at UniSQ in Trimester 1, Trimester 2 or Trimester 3 2025 be studying on-campus be enrolled in a minimum of three study units for each trimester in accordance with the duration of the grant awarded be studying the Study Abroad program (fee paying) at UniSQ (not be studying Cross-institutional, Professional Development, Bachelor or Master courses) have not already been awarded two grants over two trimesters. Only one grant can be received per trimester of study.
Selection criteria	Applicants will be considered for this grant based on the information provided in their UniSQ Study Abroad program application.

International Student Support Scholarship - 2025

In 2025, the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) will offer scholarships to new international students studying on-campus, external or online. This scholarship is based on meeting the entry requirements for the program of study and maintaining satisfactory academic performance for duration of study at UniSQ.

International students in all areas of award programs undergraduate, postgraduate and research are welcome to apply.

Value	Each scholarship will have a maximum value of 15% of the tuition fees for the duration of the approved award program and will be applied as a 15% reduction of the tuition fees. (Students are responsible for paying the remainder of the fees as per their offer letter). Continuation of the scholarship is subject to the recipient maintaining satisfactory academic performance for duration of study at UniSQ.
Eligibility	Applicants must: be an international student be enrolled in on-campus, external or online mode be a commencing student (i.e. be new to UniSQ) in 2025 receive an offer to study within one of the study periods in 2025, in an award level program offered by the University of Southern Queensland meet the academic and English requirements for the UniSQ award program for which they apply not be in receipt of another UniSQ tuition fee scholarship not be a sponsored student, unless student is sponsored by an NGO or a government of a low or middle income country not be studying through an offshore partner.
Selection criteria	Applicants will be considered for this scholarship based on the information provided on their UniSQ international student application. UniSQ will use information from your admission application to assess your scholarship eligibility. As necessary on-campus applicants will also need to be successful in gaining the appropriate visa for the duration of their study to remain eligible.
