RMIT was established in 1887 as the Working Men’s College with the aim of bringing education to the working people of Melbourne. RMIT is a global university of technology, design and enterprise. The university is a world leader in Art and Design; Architecture; Education; Engineering; Development; Computer Science and Information Systems; Business and Management; and Communication and Media Studies.
Bundoora Campus
The Bundoora campus, in the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, is set in a tranquil parkland environment complete with outdoor sporting facilities.
The Melbourne Bundoora campus is 18 kilometres north-east of Melbourne’s city centre – a relaxing environment surrounded by open spaces and native parklands. The campus, with East and West sections on either side of Plenty Road, houses many of RMIT’s engineering, health and medical sciences and education programs.

- dedicated engineering campus (East)
- sporting facilities including a FIFA-approved soccer pitch, football oval, athletics track, and tennis and netball courts

There are plenty of outdoor features to enjoy, including the Keelbundoora Scarred Tree and Heritage Trail, ornamental lakes and abundant greenery and wildlife.

Admission Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to RMIT University:
- International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Financial support statement (original bank statement and sponsor letter).
- Passport identification page with machine-readable code visible
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
