Board governed and operating publicly under the Alberta Post-secondary Learning Act, Portage College has been serving the region for over 50 years and is proud to be the first choice for learners in northeast Alberta. The College boasts seven strategically located campuses throughout the region.
Cold Lake Campus
Situated in the Lakeland district, Cold Lake is home to a variety of activities from boating, fishing, swimming, waterskiing and wakeboarding to snowmobiling, snowboarding, hiking and more. There's plenty to do and explore in a vibrant downtown atmosphere.
Our Cold Lake campus is the second largest campus, and it's conveniently housed in the Cold Lake Energy Centre which plays home to the Cold Lake Ice junior B hockey team, and offers world-class fitness facilities, ice rinks and concert venues.
Our St. Paul Campus provides programming in the following areas; Culinary Arts, Pre-Employment Cooking, Practical Nurse, Academic Upgrading and University Transfer Courses. Our students have the opportunity to learn and work in a top-notch environment while enjoying small class sizes.
