Founded in 1959 by Jean-Paul Morin in the LaSalle borough of Montréal, LaSalle College is a subsidized private post-secondary educational institution. Today it provides professional, college, and pre-university training. LaSalle College has 5 specialty schools with over 60 programs based on creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation and openness to the world at the heart of its educational plan.

Admission Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to LaSalle College:
- International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

Staying with a host family is a popular choice among many students. Our host families are carefully selected to provide quality service to our students. Staying with a family allows students to completely immerse themselves in a French or English environment with a warm family atmosphere.
This format includes:

- A choice of three (3) meal plans: no meals, two meals or three meals per day
- Shared common areas and bathroom facilities

- Game room (pool, ping pong, babyfoot and air hockey tables; there is also a game arcade and several flat-screen TVs to watch sports);
- Library and business center with computers;
