Admission Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Dalhousie University:
- International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

Accomodation
On-Campus Housing
Dalhousie University offers great on-campus housing services for students. The residence service is managed by the accessibility services department, which allocates residences as per their discretion and the priorities of the students.
Off-Campus Housing
Students have numerous options of finding accommodation off-campus in the nearby area. Students can have access to studio apartments, pay for guest facilities, share apartment complexes, and much more.
Homestays
Homestays are an integral system of housing for students. Students have the opportunity to avail themselves of homestay facilities as per their discretion and choices. Homestay hosts include single people, young couples with children and pets, and older couples. All homestay accommodations have been inspected, and all adults in the home have completed a required criminal reference check.

Harold A Robertson Scholarship in Parkinson Research

- You must demonstrate strong academic achievement
- Your project will be in the research area focusing on Parkinson’s Disease with an emphasis if possible at a basic sciences level or broader symptom level to address everyday living challenges and concerns such as caregiving, home design, technology, accommodations, or those tracing and predicting Parkinson’s families.
Ken Saunders Bursary for Parkinson's Research
