Admission Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Bay Atlantic University - Washington
- International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Financial support statement (original bank statement and sponsor letter).
- Passport identification page with machine readable code visible
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

On-Campus Accommodations
The residence is more than just four walls. Living on campus offers convenience, camaraderie and security in a supportive community that will help you get the most out of your university experience–both academically and socially. Life in residence will open up doors to group activities, sports and events that will lead to life-long friendships.
- BAU offers housing (Island Condos) to students located in the newly developing area of Washington, D.C., Brookland, which is less than 4 miles from campus. The housing facilities have a total of 158 beds in eight attached buildings configured as single (6), double (81), triple (39) and quad (32). The rooms are fully furnished with free wi-fi access. All common areas have built-in LCD TVs. Each building has a flat rooftop area and outdoor common patio. A professional cleaning staff clean all common areas, bathrooms, and kitchens every two weeks. There is security staff at night and security cameras around the premises. The student housing coordinator, located on site, is responsible for all aspects of the management such as student conduct, security, maintenance, and cleaning. In addition, the coordinator is responsible for checking students in and ensuring students have read, understand, and sign the standard operating procedures. There is also a shuttle bus service 3 times a day between Island Condos and BAU Campus during the week.

The department of student services seeks to integrate students into the University community and to support and complement student learning.
The department is responsible for co-curricular activities including career services, field trips, and academic workshops; social life like student activities and clubs; student housing; student health insurance; and student and alumni relations.
