Overview

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) was formed on 18 November 2010 through the merger of the University of Wales Lampeter and Trinity University College Carmarthen, under Lampeter’s Royal Charter of 1828. On the 1 August 2013, Swansea Metropolitan University became part of UWTSD.

The University’s Royal Charter is the oldest in Wales and England after the universities of Oxford and Cambridge. In 2011 HRH the Prince of Wales became its Royal Patron.

Together we deliver clear, tangible benefits for learners, employers, industry and communities by offering a vocational approach from entry level to post-doctoral research. The Group will be further strengthened with the merger of the University of Wales into UWTSD in due course.

The University’s main campuses are situated in various locations in and around Swansea’s city centre as well as in the rural towns of Lampeter and Carmarthen in South West Wales.

Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to the University of Wales Trinity Saint David

International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Mannequin House
Located in the heart of East London in Walthamstow, Mannequin House offers an authentic London living experience to its residents. Since the property opened in 2017, it has been home to students from across the various universities in London.

Mannequin House is situated in zone three and is just a thirty-second walk from Blackhorse Road underground station and just 30 mins away from UWTSD’s Thavies Inn House campus.

Living at Mannequin house, you will have a range of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants at your fingertips. There’s even a HIIT training studio, yoga studio and rock-climbing centre only five minutes away, giving you the perfect opportunity to experience something new or continue with an old hobby.

If you like to have space away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Walthamstow Wetlands is a ten-minute walk away and is perfect for walks, outdoor runs, or to have a picnic with your friends.

Mannequin House features a range of studio and en-suite rooms suited to your needs, along with many communal spaces open to all residents, offering the ideal home away from home.

Amenities:

Communal spaces – residents have access to several communal areas including a living room for watching TV and socialising.
Games Room – kitted out with gaming equipment, this room is a great space to chill-out with friends. Be sure to challenge your friends and neighbours to a game of pool or make use of our gaming consoles!
Study Room – All of our bedrooms have study desks, but if you like a change of scenery from time to time, our quiet study room is for you. If you’re an early bird or a night owl, you’ll be happy to know that it’s even open 24/7.
Social Calendar – We know events are key to a great student experience. The Mannequin House team will work hard to organise events based on your interests, and make sure your social calendars are full throughout the year.
Outdoor Courtyard – Residents of Mannequin House can make use of their own communal courtyard, ideal for soaking up the sun and spending time with friends.
24-hour service – Our friendly team are on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you have any concerns, or just want to have a chat, we’ll be in reception ready to help.
