Overview
Alexander College is a private post-secondary institution serving approximately 4,500 students every year. Alexander College offers a variety of undergraduate degree and transfer programs [see Programs] including University Transfer, Associate of Arts degree and Associate of Science degree. An integrated English for Academic Purposes program is also available to assist non-native English speakers with their transition to university level studies in the English language.
Alexander College is recognized and accredited by the BC Ministry of Advanced Education, Degree Quality Assurance Board (DQAB), BC Education Quality Assurance (EQA) program, and is a participant in the BC Transfer System, organized by the BC Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT).

Vancouver Campus
Alexander College’s Vancouver Campus is located in the centre of downtown Vancouver on the corner of Seymour and Hastings Street. The Vancouver campus is steps away from the major shopping, entertainment districts and major tourist attractions. It’s also one block away from the Vancouver Waterfront Skytrain.

Admission Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Alexander College:
- International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

At Alexander College, our primary aim is to provide students with an excellent learning experience. Library: Stocked with a constantly growing and dynamic list of print publications, and a click away from access to literally millions of subscription online articles, ebooks, films and many other electronic resources, our libraries at both campuses are the ideal place to help you pursue your many interests and to get started on projects and assignments for your courses.
Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (SRR): The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities at Alexander College operates in a fair and just manner by upholding the institution’s values and guaranteeing that all students have an equal opportunity to thrive academically. We offer support services to create a positive and equitable learning environment for all students while upholding their rights and responsibilities. Students can contact us with questions regarding accommodations, appeals, bereavement requests, deferrals and complaints. Among other administrative matters, the SRR also oversees both behavioral and academic aspects of Student Conduct and disciplinary processes.
