Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to the SUNY Brockport

International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Financial support statement (original bank statement and sponsor letter).
Passport identification page with machine-readable code visible
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

International Scholarships

First-Year International Scholarships

All accepted first-year international applicants are guaranteed $7,500 in scholarships (Empire + Green).

Additionally, International students will be automatically considered for our Gold + Empire awards and/or recommendation to our Honors program. On-campus residency is required. Scholarships are merit-based and not applicable for athletes.

Gold Scholarship	$4,500 (renewable for 4 years)	Merit scholarship for high achieving applicants. Stackable with Empire scholarship.
Honors/Prometheus Award	$6,000 (renewable for 4 years) + campus parking pass	Students accepted to Honors College. Separate application required. Fall start only. Stackable with Empire scholarship.

Transfer International Scholarships

Brockport also awards transfer scholarships designed for students who come to Brockport after completing a minimum of 24 college credits at another College or University. These awards are competitive and reviewed following a student’s admission to Brockport.
