Lincoln Bishop University, formerly Bishop Grosseteste University, has been educating students since 1862. It was first established as an Anglican teacher training college and continues to provide first-class education to high-calibre graduates that go on to positively change the world.

Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Lincoln Bishop University

International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Accomodation

Finding the right place to live is crucial, so our Accommodation Team aim to make the transition from home to higher education as easy as possible. If you’re an international student you will need to live within close proximity of campus in order to comply with your visa.

On-Campus Accommodation
Wickham Hall
Wickham Hall is our newest on-campus accommodation, comprising groups of contemporary en-suite cluster flats.

Wickham Hall features contemporary en-suite cluster flats comprising of 126 rooms. Each flat comes with 6 private en-suite study bedrooms and a communal kitchen living area. Rooms come with 3 electrical sockets, TV aerial point, built in wardrobe and drawers, desk with chair, easy chair, double size bed with underneath storage. Kitchen / Living Areas are fully fitted with microwave, cooker, fridge, freezer, dining table and chairs, sofas and TV.

Constance Stewart Hall
Constance Stewart Hall is our largest on-campus accommodation block, comprising of 91 study bedrooms split over 4 floors.

Each room is equipped with its own washbasin, wardrobe, shelving, desk with chair and easy chair, 2 electric sockets and bed with underneath storage. The ground floor includes a fully accessible study-bedroom and accessible bathroom facilities for disabled students.
Each floor is provided with communal kitchens with living areas, all fully fitted with microwave, cooker, fridge, freezer and communal seating. Students are advised to bring basic cooking utensils for use in the kitchens. You may also bring sandwich toasters etc., but for safety reasons these must only be used in the kitchens.

Off-Campus Accommodation
Private Halls / Student House Shares

There are pleasant privately-owned halls and shared houses in Lincoln with accommodation situated around the attractive Cathedral Quarter and the city centre, all within a short walking distance to the University.
The landlords of these developments and properties work in line with the City of Lincoln Student Accreditation Scheme which sets out mandatory safety standards that Landlords must comply with in order to have a property accredited through the University.
