The Canadian College of Technology and Business is a private educational institution specializing in career development, certification and technical training in business and information systems. Our institute provides and upholds quality education and training of the highest standard based on the trending in-demand skills and knowledge.
Our principal educational philosophy is to provide the best technical training in both business management processes and coreindustry technologies to allow our students to obtain a high degree of success upon entry into positions of business, technology and hospitality and tourism.
CCTB campus is located in the heart of Vancouver’s financial district and just steps away from public transit, including the Waterfront Sky Train Station, bus routes and the SeaBus. Admission Requirements
The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to the Canadian College of Technology and Business (CCTB):
- International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

CCTB is committed to providing career orientation, guidance and complete employment support. Throughout their studies, students will learn self-marketing techniques and receive support in securing employment in their desired field. We strive to deliver an outstanding level of support as you enter or re-enter the workforce.
Accomodation
CCTB will help you to find a place to live through our Off-Campus Housing Service.
This service has proven experience working with international students and providing additional support that is tailored to students’ specific needs. We strongly recommend that all housing requests be made no later than one month prior to arrival.
They can provide or arrange:
- Homestay living with a family in a comfortable home environment. You have the option to decide if you would like to include a meal plan
- Student residence where you will live amongst other students allowing you to get involved in student life with games, social activities and dining halls
- Student condo living! This is similar to student residence, besides social activities and dining halls, you can enjoy other exciting amenities such as a pool, gym and in-suite kitchens
- Furnished apartments with the option of living with other international students at CCTB
- Locations near public transportation, shopping, restaurants and the CCTB campus

Scholarships
The Canadian Tech Family Scholarship
The Canadian Tech Family Scholarship has been established in order to support and encourage family members to join the Canadian College of Technology and Business (CCTB) and help them to continue working to achieve their educational goals.
Any prospective student will be able to recommend a direct family member to apply for the Tech family scholarship when applying for one of the following eligible CCTB technology programs:
- Data Engineering and Analytics with Co-op
- Software Quality Assurance Engineering with Co-op
- User Experience and Interactive Design with Co-op
- Cybersecurity Risk Management with Co-op
- Postgraduate Certificate in Security Operations Analyst with Co-op
- Full-Stack Web Developer with Co-op.
The Canadian Tech Family Scholarship allows a direct family member to enroll into one of the following non-tech programs at a significantly discounted price:

Terms and Conditions
- The Family Scholarship & Tech Family Scholarship can not be combined with any other promotion.
- The Family Scholarship & Tech Family Scholarship is valid until December 31, 2024, covering all 2024 intakes.
- The scholarship will only apply to the following categories of students, provided they submit the documents indicated below:
- Siblings/Parents/Children: birth certificates ONLY.
- Spouses: marriage certificate ONLY.
