Wright State University is a national public university in Dayton, Ohio with more than 10,000 students. Offering 315 degree programs, the university is made up of six colleges, a medical school, and a branch campus in Celina, Ohio. Named for the Wright brothers, Wright State University offers an exceptional, affordable education. Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Wright State University.

International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Financial support statement (original bank statement and sponsor letter).
Passport identification page with machine-readable code visible
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Scholarships

Graduate International Alumni Scholarship

A $10,000 annual scholarship for full-time enrollment will be awarded for F-1 and J-1 international students who have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree at Wright State and would like to enroll for a second degree. Students will need to have a GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of admission to be eligible. The scholarship is renewable for 4 semesters so long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA. The scholarship cannot be combined with any other Wright State funded scholarships.

Scholarship Details

Must be an international student on an F1 or J1 visa.
Must be charged a non-resident tuition surcharge.
Students may receive only one merit scholarship or tuition discount
Students must be enrolled full-time.
The annual scholarship amount is divided evenly between Fall and Spring Semesters. If you are a continuing student attending full time in the summer, complete the Summer Scholarship Request Form.
Funds are awarded as available, so apply for admission into a graduate program early.
Renewable contingent on maintaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA at the end of the academic year.
It can be used for graduate non-resident tuition only.
