The Boston Campus
Founded in 1823, MCPHS is the oldest institution of higher education in the city of Boston, and its pharmacy program is the second oldest in the United States. The main campus is located in Boston’s Longwood Medical and Academic Area, and the University enjoys working affiliations with some of the world’s finest health institutions, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, Boston Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Among its neighbors are Emmanuel College; Massachusetts College of Art and Design; Simmons University; Wentworth Institute of Technology; and Harvard University’s medical school, dental school, and school of public health.
