Overview

City University of Seattle in Canada is a not-for-profit, accredited institution that has offered post-secondary academic programs in Canada since 1984. We have offered our flagship degrees, the Master of Education degree since 1995 and the Master of Counselling degree since 1997 respectively. Both degrees are offered in Alberta and BC. There are approximately 500 students and 75 faculty and staff at City University in Canada.

At CityU in Canada, all instructors are practitioners with extensive teaching experience and scholarly achievements. Students find that our instructors convey the lived experience of professional practice supported by the latest thinking and research. All members of our core faculty are prominent practitioners with relevant doctorates. Students study in cohorts, supported by experienced advisors and senior faculty and features a strong sense of community, mutual support and networking opportunities.

City University in Canada – Vancouver Campus
The Vancouver campus is situated in downtown Vancouver on the corner of West Pender Street and Howe Street. We are minutes away from the Waterfront Skytrain station, Pacific Centre Mall and many restaurants and food trucks.During the week, the full time Master of Counselling students have classes, and part-time students have classes during their scheduled week long intensives (mixed mode) or weekends (Saturdays). Some Master of Education students also have classes at the Vancouver campus, but most MEd classes take place in the student’s own school districts.We also host a variety of other events at our campus, which include: information sessions, supervision groups, workshops, book launches, and the occasional social gathering.
