Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to the Toronto Metropolitan University International College (TMUIC):

International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores. If you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note: If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

Off-Campus Housing
Students have numerous options for finding accommodation off-campus in nearby areas. Students can have access to studio apartments, paying guest facilities, sharing apartment complexes and many more.

Homestay
Homestays are an integral system of housing for students. Students have the opportunity to avail homestay facilities as per their discretion and choices. Homestay hosts include single people, young couples with children and pets, and older couples. All homestay accommodations have been inspected, and all adults in the home have completed a required criminal reference check.

Scholarships

TMUIC is pleased to offer a variety of scholarship opportunities that recognize academic success and community engagement of our students. Students starting in Jan 2025 could be eligible for a scholarship of up to $2,000. Please contact TMUIC for more information.
