Brisbane (Mount Gravatt) Campus
Located on the edge of Toohey Forest with panoramic views of Brisbane, Mount Gravatt campus is the original site of Griffith College, opened in 1997. Adjacent to Griffith Nathan campus with panoramic views of Brisbane, Mount Gravatt has more than 4,000 students and offers degrees in criminology and criminal justice, education and psychology.

Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Griffith College

International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Financial support statement (original bank statement and sponsor letter).
Passport identification page with machine-readable code visible
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Both our campus locations offer plenty of options on where to stay and who to stay with. Whether you want to live in a highly social environment or you prefer privacy, there’s a style of accommodation to suit you perfectly.

On-Campus
If it’s convenience that you want, Griffith College offers accommodation on both campuses that’s an easy walk to your class. There are self-catered options and added benefits, like access to common spaces, Wi-Fi and discounted gym membership.

Off-Campus
Privately managed share houses or apartments are the most common off-campus option. You are likely to be living with other students, so it’s a great way to feel independent, but also have the support of like-minded people who are also learning about life in Australia. Furniture is included.

Student Support

Academic Support - Teaching staff and student learning advisors are on hand to provide you with a range of academic support and help you improve your skills with study structure, technology, maths, English language and more.
Counselling and Wellbeing Support- Student Counsellors with experience in specific aspects of emotional well-being are available to offer guidance on any aspect of life that might be causing you stress or concern.
Health and Medical Services - Healthy living is an essential part of successful study. We have services to promote positive life choices and deal with any medical issues that you may encounter. The Griffith University Health Service located on the Nathan and Gold Coast campuses offers bulk-billing for medical consultations for international students with a current OSHC policy and for local students covered by Medicare.
Safe Campuses - We are committed to providing safe and inclusive communities, on-campus and online, which are free from harassment, bullying, discrimination and assault. We encourage all members of the Griffith community to call out, report and seek support if disrespectful behaviours occur.

Scholarships

Accept your offer by 31st May 2025 to qualify for a $2,500 Scholarship Gold Coast Grants - $1000 Progression Scholarship - 25% off tuition

Minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 7.0 is required on conclusion of the students’ first study period.

Scholarship is paid prior to commencement of second study period, subject to GPA being met.

Excluded: Masters Qualifying Program, Diploma of Health Care, Government Sponsored students.

Apply for a $1,000 scholarship if you are studying on the Gold Coast.

The first 250 international students who meet the criteria and complete verification will be eligible.

Achieve a GPA of 5.5 out of 7.0 to receive 25% off tuition fees at Griffith University.

Valid for entire degree, subject to student maintaining the required GPA and other requirements.

Achieve a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0 and above out of 7 in the first trimester of study at Griffith College

International Student Scholarship
Accept your offer by the cut-off date to automatically qualify for an International Student Scholarship, designed to support you as you embark on your study adventure at Griffith College.

Scholarship Terms and Conditions
Scholarships are only available to new international students commencing in Trimester 1 (March 2025); and who have not studied at Griffith College in any previous study period.

To qualify for this scholarship", students must:

Accept their offer by the cut-off date: Monday 9th December 2024
Pay all relevant fees
Commence study in their accepted intake (no deferrals)
Remain enrolled past census date
Achieve a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 4.0 out of 7 (if studying 4 units) or 4.5 out of 7 of studying 3 units) in the first trimester of study at Griffith College

Scholarships can only be redeemed for their intended purpose and are not transferable or exchangeable in any way. Quotas apply to all scholarships, delays in accepting your offer may affect eligibility.

International Student Academic Excellence Scholarship

Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
Have a minimum GPA in previous studies of 5.5 or above on a 7 point scale or equivalent in the most recent recognised qualification.
Satisfy all academic and English language entry requirements for your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
Be a full-time student starting in 2024, 2025 or 2026.
Excludes the following programs: Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Dental Health Science, Doctor of Medicine, Master of Dentistry, Master of Pharmacy, Master of Speech Pathology and Graduate Diploma of Flight Management.
