Overview

The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, also known as NAIT is situated in Edmonton, Alberta and offers education to over 1500 students from about 90 countries enrolled in one of its 140 credit programs and has its primary focus on meeting the current and the future needs for polytechnic education and research in Alberta. With an average class size of about 20 students, NAIT is one of the largest trainers in Canada offering 34 apprenticeship trades to its national and international students.


The credit programs offered by NAIT are in diverse fields related to science, environmental studies, business, technology, health and trades and apprenticeship training, leading to degrees, diplomas, applied degrees or certificates. Northern Alberta Institute of Technology offers an easy way for students to create flexible class schedules so that it is easy for them to manage their work, studies and family lives. They can get themselves enrolled in credit or non-credit courses and can take either online, fulltime or part-time classes towards their certificate, diploma or degrees.


The main campus of NAIT, located in Edmonton, offers most of the full-time courses in areas related to Information Technology, Engineering technologies and Hospitality.
