The Bachelor of Fine Arts is a high-quality degree program that gives our graduates an edge in the working world and as they build their careers in design. This degree program is recognized by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. Students who complete this degree will: Possess a global perspective, allowing them to weigh design decisions within the parameters of ecological, socio-economic and cultural contexts. Use critical thinking and design to creatively solve problems within the interior environment. Produce design drawings using a variety of media, techniques, and technology. Be able to select and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment and finish materials in interior spaces. Demonstrate knowledge of building systems and interior construction methods and materials, as well as professional ethics and best business practices. Develop knowledge of the history of interiors, architecture, and art. Career opportunities for graduates include commercial design, health care design, hospitality design, residential design, set design, facilities management, space planning and more.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
