Program Overview

Accredited by BCS, the Chartered Institute for Information Technology, this Computer Science with Game Design degree capitalises on the growing demand for user experience technology. Drawing on our expertise across two academic disciplines, it combines a solid foundation in traditional computer science with the creative aspects of successful games development.

You’ll gain practical experience of developing systems using the latest technologies and techniques in our cutting-edge media and computing facilities and mixed reality environments. Learning how computer games are built and work, you’ll create – and play – games in a variety of different formats, from 2D and 3D platforms to board games and collectable card games.

The BCS-accredited BSc (Hons) Computer Science with Game Design teaches you the fundamentals of computer science, advanced programming and game design skills.
