You’ll be provided with the professional and scientific skills training, to increase your graduate prospects in a wide number of fields such as biopharmaceutical industry, clinical trials, scientific research, drug development, PhD research or postgraduate medicine.

Biomedical sciences is the extensive study of the human beings, organs, cells and systems, and includes a range of biomedical subjects such as anatomy, endocrinology, microbiology and neuroscience.

You’ll gain an integrated knowledge of the human body; how it works in health and disease and of current biomedical science techniques and methodologies.

On this course, you will develop a comprehensive scientific understanding, and be given the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in areas such as:

  • Human physiology
  • Pharmacology and drug development
  • Neuroscience
  • Cancer biology
  • Reproductive biology
  • Regenerative medicine and tissue engineering
