Master of Science in International Financial Management

Program Overview

This programme combines academic study with invaluable practical teaching, to give you top-level business education in international financial management. Get an insider’s perspective of the complex global environment and learn to operate successfully within it, through the study of markets and institutions, corporate finance, decision making and more.

In current times and economic conditions, financial management is one of the most dynamic disciplines in the world. This programme addresses the key issues and developments in the sector and you'll leave the course with a solid understanding of the changing context in which global financial firms operate. Professional skills such as project management, data analysis and quantitative research methods will be developed through innovative modules.

Throughout the programme you will enhance transferable cognitive skills in relation to the analysis, synthesis and critical evaluation of the knowledge of financial management. You’ll also understand the appropriateness of using quantitative research methods in particular contexts. You do not not require specific background knowledge in the field of finance or financial management for this programme.

You’ll be studying in the financial capital of the world, home to a wealth of resources in and around the university, such as the London Stock Exchange and The British Library. With free subscriptions to Bloomberg and Financial Times as part of the course, you’ll be able to keep up to date with the latest changes and discuss them with like-minded peers in lively group sessions.
