The Executive Master of Accounting with a concentration in Business Valuation program is tailored to the needs of busy professionals. The business valuation program is offered by the School of Accounting Executive Programs (SOAEP), a department in FAU’s AACSB-accredited and nationally recognized College of Business. The program provides students with specialized knowledge and skills that address one of the most important and growing specialized areas of accounting.
Students can complete the program (a) Entirely online by watching live or recorded lectures, (b) In person – Students that desire a more traditional classroom experience may participate in the optional live lectures held on Saturday mornings in the state of the art Davie West Building on the FAU Davie Campus, or (c) a combination of both. Attend your way!
Throughout the program, students have the opportunity to meet and network with successful professionals. Our dedicated career services specialist works with students on their resumes and LinkedIn profiles. Students also have access to our professional network and to job announcements that we post exclusively for them.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
