A communication major can open the doors to careers in public relations, advocacy work and media creation. Because we live in an information-driven society, fields like business, government, law and nonprofits all need effective communicators to share knowledge with their audiences.
Pursuing a communication degree at Pacific will prepare you for a successful career by providing a strong foundation in communication theory, research methodologies, and proficiency in oral and written communication. This theoretical foundation is enhanced by practical experiences, including an internship and senior-year capstone project. You’ll hone your skills through hands-on opportunities like Pacific’s student-run radio station and its nationally ranked speech and debate team.
