Bachelor of Science in Nursing-Traditional Option

Program Overview

By earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Alabama, students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to become a registered nurse. With a career in nursing, you’ll inspire change in your organization, community, and beyond. Upon completion of a BSN, students will be able to provide quality care in adult health, mental wellness, and pediatric care while demonstrating ethical decision-making.

The first two years of the curriculum include courses in biological, physical and behavioral sciences, and humanities to provide a foundation for growth in the nursing major. The last two years include clinical and non-clinical professional nursing courses and electives.
