Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science - Pharmacy Administration

Program Overview

Consider a pharmacy administration degree at The University of Toledo. We have one of the country’s best undergraduate pharmaceutical sciences programs in the country.

Students come to UToledo not just to become pharmacists, but to become pharmacy leaders. Our pharmacy administration students focus on the business of pharmacy health care. Many earn a business minor from UToledo’s acclaimed College of Business and Innovation.

Students build a science foundation their first two years. They take the same pre-pharmacy classes as students in UToledo’s four other pharmaceutical sciences majors.

Students focus on the health-care landscape and the business of health care during their final two years. They take foundational business classes and graduate with a broad skill set that can be applied to a variety of health-care careers.

Highlights

  • One of the nation’s best pharmacy science programs. UToledo offers the most comprehensive pharmacy science program in the US — five majors and a path to medical school.
  • Two for one. Pharmacy administration students take classes in the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as UToledo’s nationally ranked College of Business and Innovation. That means you can take advantage of the resources of two prestigious programs – job fairs, advisers and renowned faculty.
  • COBI’s sales program is one of the world’s best and a natural fit for pharmacy administration students. A minor in sales can lead to a career in pharmaceutical sales or a sales career in many other health-care industries.
  • State-of-the-art classrooms and labs in both the pharmacy and business colleges.
