In the Bachelor of Biomedical Science, you’ll explore the complex world of human health and disease under the guidance of industry experts.
Biomedical science explores human disease from cause and diagnosis to treatment and cure. Professionals in this field have strong knowledge in science, healthcare and research methodologies to contribute to a variety of health industries, with knowledge that underpins many areas of the health sector.
In this three-year program, you'll develop advanced knowledge in physiology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, molecular biology, genomics and bioinformatics. You’ll get to learn alongside internationally recognised researchers and academics in cancer biology, vaccine development and genetics, as well as experts in the area of clinical trials throughout your degree.
You’ll graduate with the skills to join the fast-paced and innovative biomedical research industry, and gain in-demand skills to be used in clinical trials and growing areas of industry need.

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
