Program Overview

University of Toledo art history majors go to class at UToledo’s Center for the Visual Arts on the campus of the Toledo Museum of Art. Study the history of art and architecture and analyze art’s meaning, style and social context. Gain access to TMA’s 45 galleries, library, research facilities and art education programs.

  • Invaluable museum experience. UToledo students who choose the optional concentration in art museum practices work with UToledo faculty and Toledo Museum of Art professionals to design and install an exhibition at the museum.
