Hope your skills analysing the practices and processes that drive the creation and consumption of media around the globe. Media Studies at Deakin focuses on the role of literature, film, television and the full range of digital media in creating, shaping and re-shaping society and culture. Deakin College Foundation Pathway Scholarship

Students who complete the Deakin College Foundation program and enrol directly into a Deakin University degree will be eligible for the new Deakin College Foundation Pathway Scholarship.

	15% off the Bachelor degree tuition fees if the graduating Foundation student achieves a grade of 65%+
Eligibility criteria
The bursary is open to all international students. The bursary can not be held in conjunction with any other Deakin scholarship.

Deakin University offers a bursary of 20% and a scholarship of 25% based on academic merit as outlined in the table below. They are offered upon the total indicative tuition fee stated on your offer letter, available for the normal duration of the course.

Work Permit

PGWP

Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
