Only available to international students, Bond’s Master of Communication (Professional) is designed specifically for international students who would like to develop expertise in the rapidly expanding field of professional communication. Domestic students, please see Master of Communication.
The program covers advertising, public relations, social media, human communication theory, relational communication, organisational communication and leadership, and research methods and data visualisation.
You will experience opportunities to apply your knowledge to real projects. You will choose and conduct a research project, and guided by academic and industry professionals, complete a 20-week professional portfolio capstone subject.

Career Opportunities
The Master of Communication (Professional) program will equip you with the skills to focus on interpersonal and group interactions in the workplace; communication challenges posed by an increasingly diverse and virtual workforce; planning for internal and external communication in private, public, and nonprofit organizations; media relations; and management of risks, among other topics.
Students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a Post Study Work Permit or a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) to continue working in Australia post the completion of their study programs. As an international student, one can apply for the visa but not later than six months after completing your course. But to be eligible, you must meet the Australian Study Requirements, which include a minimum of 16 months of stay in Australia and a completing 92 weeks of a course registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).
