Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Analytics (Co-op)

Program Overview

Are you interested in working with data and making informed decisions? Our Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Business Analytics) four-year degree program prepares you to work in high-demand sectors such as banking, government, pharmaceutical, finance, healthcare, and telecommunications. You'll learn how to interpret data from multiple sources, what type of data you need to collect to make important business decisions, and how to use that data to tell an interesting story.

As a student in this program, you’ll also benefit from an exciting work-integrated learning experience, where you’ll work directly with industry employers.

Here are some skills you’ll be able to show off after completion of the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (Business Analytics) program:

  • Using business intelligence models, data management, data insights and frameworks, data-science-based decisions, and value-creation opportunities to help with decision-making
  • Using the latest software and data science methods to analyze and disseminate data for various business uses
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to aid in strategic planning
  • Communicating accurately and professionally through written, oral, digital, and visual media, adapting to context as needed

Program Delivery

  • This full-time degree program is delivered in an online format for the first two years and in person for the latter two years.
  • International students can study the first two years remotely from their home country and no study permit is required. However, students would have to apply for a study permit well in advance of coming to Canada to begin year three (5th semester). If students are successful in securing a study permit for years three and four of the program, they will also be eligible to apply for a post-graduation work permit.
