Our Master of Science in Organizational Psychology (MSOP) program gives you a theoretical framework in organizational behavior and the opportunity to improve your skills in research design, data collection and analysis, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal, group, and organizational issues.
The integration of theory and practice in our MSOP program prepares you to lead, manage, and/or consult with dynamic and diverse organizations operating in a global environment. Courses are taken in the Department of Psychology, School of Communication, and Barney School of Business, students develop unique analytical skills and accumulate knowledge from the differing perspectives of these schools of thought. The variety of electives offered, including courses in Education and Nursing, enables you to tailor your graduate experience to your individual and professional needs.

Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
A student can participate in three types of Optional Practical Training (OPT):
