Program Overview

The program at Carleton’s Campus of European Integration Studies concentrates on European Union enlargement in the post-communist countries of central/Eastern Europe and also on Canada European Union relations.  The European Integration Studies program helps students to prepare for professional work for further studies in the same field.

Library at Carleton University is the documentation center for the European Commission where many public documents are deposited which are published by the European Union. The program is only available for students who are currently pursuing a degree program at Carleton University. The diploma program is supported by the CES (Centre for European Studies), Carleton’s European Union Centre of Excellence and by the university’s Jean Monnet Chair in the neighborhood policies.  Students enrolled in this program get to know about various topics like European Union, European Community, European Integration and many others. Understudies enhance their communication skills and understand the European identity, civil society and ongoing European unification process.
