Bachelor of Health Science

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Health Sciences program has three majors:

  • Biomedical Studies
  • Community and Population Health - Aboriginal and Rural Health
  • Community and Population Health - Environmental Health

All majors draw courses from the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities to provide students with a broad understanding of issues while preparing them for further studies in diverse areas such as community health, epidemiology, management and administration, medicine, occupational and environmental health, rehabilitation sciences and speech pathology.

"This program is very popular because of the breadth of offerings. Students will get the best of everything related to health and health disciplines.” says Dr. Henry Harder, Professor in the School of Health Sciences at UNBC.
