Nutrition and diet play an important role in our health and wellbeing, and are increasingly high-profile areas of expertise. There is a high demand for professional practitioners; distinguish yourself in the field with a nutritional therapist degree.
Your studies will help you to develop theoretical and practical knowledge of nutritional therapy, all underpinned by basic biochemical sciences and the functional medicine approach. You will gain an in depth knowledge of the action of nutrients at cellular level and an essential understanding of biochemical imbalances that are believed to contribute to the development of many prevalent disease states.
You will also learn methods for data collection, interpretation and rationalisation for dietary recommendation and by the end of your studies you will be able to apply the knowledge through dietary and lifestyle interventions in clinical practice.
