This course will enable you to think about technology design in new ways, as well as giving you a mix of theoretical and practical knowledge, so you can create engaging user experiences. As the industry expands there is an increasing need for specialists with a deep knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction Design (HCID) and User Experience (UX).
This course will enable you to think about technology design in new ways, placing users at the very heart of design.
You will be able to gain a deep understanding of users' needs and feed that understanding into the design of interactive systems that meet those needs in ways that engender an engaging and enriching user experience.
It will provide you with the appropriate mix of theoretical and practical knowledge to empower you to create engaging user experiences. You will gain a breadth and depth of knowledge and skills that will propel you forwards in your career (e.g. as a UX Designer, User Researcher or UX Consultant).
You will also embody a strong user ethos, adopting the necessary user-centred values to act as user advocate when designing interactive systems and services.

Ensuring that high achieving International students are given the platform to excel is a core principle of Bayes Business School (Bayes). Our new International Excellence Scholarship offers eligible students a fee reduction of £8,000 in their first year of study, easing financial pressures and allowing them to focus on their studies.
The scholarship is aimed at students who fully meet or exceed the conditions of their conditional offer to study a Bayes undergraduate programme commencing in 2026, who select us as their ‘Firm’ choice on UCAS and who submit their application to this scholarship by June 30th 2026.
