Ready to make stories come to life through the cutting of sound and picture? Taught by professional tutors established in the industry, this reputable film editing course in London will equip you with everything you need to excel in post production in the film industry.
Why study this digital film production degree?
There are three key events in the life of a film: the script, the shoot and the edit. Editing is where it all comes together; where meaning is created through cutting sound and picture. This is the decisive moment when a screen story can finally be told to the masses.
While editing is at the heart of this film editing and post production course in London, you develop a diverse skillset across the post production spectrum, including: visual effects, colour grading, audio post, screen graphics, shoot and edit and broadcast technology.
You’ll be guided by industry practitioners and guest speakers using a mix of problem-based learning, practical workshops, lectures and masterclasses. You will also gain skills in post-production technology and media management, which will provide the technical backbone of your craft. Throughout your learning journey, you will develop your practice within the context of wider social, cultural and aesthetic formations.
Armed with a full toolbox of skills, past graduates have found roles with media powerhouses like BBC, ITV and Disney, while others have worked in post-production houses editing mega movies such as Star Wars and Thor.
