Program Overview

Get ahead in the tourism industry and spend 18 months abroad, including a work placement year in one of your two target language countries.

  • Develop critical insight into the theory and practice of tourism management.
  • Learn two languages and prepare yourself for work in the global economy.
  • Gain hands-on experience of the international tourism industry – with the possibility of Erasmus funding being available to support costs for overseas study.
  • Understand the cultural, economic and social contexts of your two target countries.

Expand your language skills alongside your understanding of tourism management, preparing you to become a multilingual professional. There’s an option to study and work abroad for 18 months, developing transferable skills and giving you a competitive advantage in the international employment market. Develop fluency in French and a second foreign language (German or Spanish from any level or Italian from scratch).
