• Modern midwives do so much more than just assist with birth. They work closely with other healthcare professionals to support women throughout pregnancy and childbirth.
• At ARU, we work with employers to make sure you graduate with the knowledge, skills and abilities you will need to take on this exciting career. They help us review what we teach and how we teach it – and they offer hands-on, practical opportunities to learn through placements. Most of our student midwives have secured jobs in Year 3 of their training.
• Our course meets the Nursing and Midwifery Council Standards for Pre-Registration Midwifery Education Programmes 2019. This means that when you graduate, you can apply to register with the NMC and start your new career as a midwife.

There are various options through which a student can get a post study work visa in the UK. 
Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa for the graduates with a genuine and credible business idea.

Tier 4 Doctorate Extension Scheme is for students who have completed their Ph.D. and is valid for 12 months for them to work, look for work or set up a business.
