Bolster your credentials for admission to medical school or prepare for a career in biomedical science with this one-year, full-time program. You’ll get the knowledge base and experience you’ll need to achieve success in medical school.
How You’ll Learn
The Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences is a one-year, full-time, non-thesis master’s program designed for students who have an undergraduate science degree or have completed the course prerequisites for medical school. This program is designed to begin mid-summer and end in May of the following year. It is expected that students will be studying in person on the Jonesboro, Arkansas campus.
If you are seeking entrance to medical schools and want to bolster your credentials for admission, or if you’re looking to pursue a career in science, this degree program will help you get there. Coursework includes instructional material and assessments typically taken by first-year medical students, as well as clinical inquiry courses where you’ll combine case-based learning with concept mapping and apply it in a clinical setting. The entire program focuses on both cognitive and behavioral skills with an emphasis on critical thinking and analysis and their relation to biomedical and clinical science.
Our innovative program combines evidence-based, in-person instruction and small group learning with advanced technology for content delivery that allows for self-directed learning.
