In today’s increasingly global economy, companies of all sizes need to trade, invest and operate internationally if they are to grow. Our BA (Hons) International Business Management course prepares you to take advantage of these global opportunities and manage global risks – and do so sustainably – by helping you develop a global expertise to be successful in business.

The course prepares you by helping you develop an understanding of international trade, foreign investment, global business strategy, emerging markets (such as China, India and sub-Saharan Africa) and how to navigate different cultures.  The course also prepares you to face important global challenges including climate change, inequality and global development which businesses across the world are increasingly engaging with and seeking solutions to.

Many of our graduates kickstart their career outside the UK and now live and work in Europe, Asia or South America. Past students have worked for Johnson and Johnson in Tokyo, Hellman Worldwide Logistics in the USA and Warner Bros in London.

Alternatively, you could use your skills to launch your own business or consultancy. Our business incubator, Innospace, can help you to develop your business ideas and provide practical support to get your company up and running.
