Bachelor of Arts in Middle Childhood Education/Intervention Specialist

Program Overview

Due to changes in the state of Ohio’s teacher licensure structure, the University of Dayton is not accepting applications for admission to this program.

Students interested in applying for a degree to teach middle grades should apply to either the Adolescent to Young Adult or Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5 program. Students who are interested in working with students with special needs can apply to the K-12 Intervention Specialist program.

During the transition in state licensure requirements, students will be allowed to teach up to two grades above or below their licensure range.
