Program Overview
In this co-major, students develop a broad and diverse outlook essential to understanding the financial, social, cultural, ecological and technological changes of today's globally integrated companies. They explore business environments and cultures across the globe in both developed and emerging economies and become conscientious decision makers who are well-versed in international development, environmental sustainability, geo-politics, and global inequities.
What Will You Learn?
Global business studies is a co-major offered to students already majoring in another O'Malley School of Business program. Related programs include economics, finance, marketing, and management. Students are also encouraged to study a foreign language, which is helpful in navigating in a foreign country and understanding its culture.
In class, you will learn about global:

- Management Styles and Methodologies
The International Field Seminar helps students learn:
- How managers of different firms work with employees
- How managers work to satisfy different consumers
- The challenge of being within one culture and marketing to another
