The School of Jewelry & Metal Arts BFA program exposes students to an array of metal design principles and techniques. Curriculum covers sketching, color theory, soldering, stone-setting, welding, casting, mixed-media, enameling, digital techniques, and more.

Beginning in Fall 2024, all incoming international students are eligible to receive up to $5,000 in tuition scholarships in a combination of the below plus, the Housing Scholarship described below. STUDENTS MUST APPLY BY AUGUST 26th, 2024 to be considered for these scholarships.
All incoming International Freshmen, transfers, and graduates are eligible to apply for a $1,000 housing allowance each semester, upon selection and purchase of a meal plan. In addition, students may be eligible for a combination of the below not to exceed $5,000 a semester.

Student who submits a 500-word essay and/or Tuition Assistance Application may be deemed eligible for a scholarship of between $1,000 - $2,500 based on need.
To receive any of the above scholarships, all awarded international students must remain in good standing with the university, maintain a full course load (12-credits Fall/Spring) and pay outstanding tuition in full by the Tuition Deadline.
Optional Practical Training or OPT is a period during which students, who have completed their degrees in the USA, are permitted to work for one year on a student visa by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). OPT allows students to work for up to 3 years and develop real-world skills to survive in the competitive jobs market.
It is temporary employment for a period of 12-months that is directly related to the major area of study of an F-1 student. Eligible students have the option to apply for OPT employment authorization before completing their academic studies and/or after completing their academic studies.
